I was able to find most of the stuff I needed for my boat without much hassle

I did end up getting a small discount, so that was nice, but the whole promo thing felt a little all over the place. The offers seemed to change quickly, and I wasn’t totally sure when free shipping actually applied. I can’t say it was bad because I did save some money, but something about it just felt like it could be better.

The site was just easy to get around and I found the epoxy I needed without any hassle. Checkout was simple, the pages loaded quickly, and the product info was right there instead of being buried.

I ordered sometime last week, or maybe the week before, and the checkout was mostly fine. The only thing that tripped me up was the coupon box. It wasn’t super clear where to enter the code or if it actually applied, so I had to double-check before placing the order.

I ordered this paint because the color looked perfect on the chart online, but once it dried, it was way darker and kind of gray, which is not what I had in mind at all. I mixed it exactly like the directions said too, so I don’t know what else I was supposed to do. Now parts of my boat look patchy and weird, and I’m stuck having to redo the whole thing, which is just incredibly frustrating. I really don’t think I’d order colors from here again.

It took, well, it definitely took longer than I expected to fully cure. Not a huge issue, but the dry time felt slow.

I’ve ordered from TotalBoat a few times now, and it’s been pretty much the same experience each time, in a good way. I’ll be in the middle of a project, realize I need more product, place the order, and when it shows up, it matches what I’ve used before. Same thickness, same color, same finish, so I’m not stuck trying to adjust or second-guess anything. The only downside is the shipping hasn’t been super quick, just okay. I’m taking off one star for that, but as far as the actual products go, I’ve got no complaints.

Shipping was fine, so I’m giving it 2 stars, but the order itself wasn’t right. I ordered a specific TotalBoat paint color and ended up with a different one in the box. I had to email support and wait for a response, which pushed back the weekend project I was trying to get done. To be fair, they did get back to me, but it was still frustrating. If you’re ordering paint for a project with a schedule, I’d suggest opening the box as soon as it arrives and checking the color before you plan your work around it...

The return ended up taking way longer than I expected, and the refund updates were poor. The weird part is, I had to follow up more than once just to figure out what was going on. Overall, it felt like too much hassle and wasn’t worth the trouble for me.

I was disappointed with this. I sanded and cleaned everything first, but it still didn’t stick well for my project. It started peeling quickly, and that was annoying after putting in the effort.

I wasn’t really impressed with the site. The information felt confusing and kind of all over the place, so I didn’t feel safe placing an order. Compared to other stores I’ve used, where the details are clearer and the checkout feels more trustworthy, this one just didn’t give me much confidence.

I picked up some paint from TotalBoat it went on easily. It looked nice right after I finished, so I was feeling good about it. But after just one season, I’m already noticing some wear. Is it awful?? No, not really. I just expected it to hold up a bit better, you know??

I ordered some varnish and a few sanding pads from TotalBoat, and the shipping was quicker than I expected. The box showed up in 3 days, which was a nice surprise.
The only thing that bugged me was the tracking. It took about a day to update, and I’m not the most patient person, so I kept checking it and getting annoyed because I couldn’t tell if it had even shipped yet.
Once it arrived, everything was packed well, nothing leaked, and the order was exactly what I needed. Overall I’m happy with it and would order again, though preferably when I’m not sitting there refreshing the tracking page every ten minutes.

I used this paint on a small boat hatch and really thought it would hold up better. I sanded everything down, cleaned it properly, and tried to follow the prep steps as closely as I could. After only a couple of weeks, it started bubbling in spots and I noticed damp areas where water was getting through. I reached out to support and they basically said something like, “make sure the surface was fully prepped and dry before applying,” which I get, but I did all of that. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but for the price, I expected much better water resistance. Disappointing overall.

I ordered some TotalBoat paint and compared to other paints I’ve had shipped, this one definitely arrived in rougher shape. The can was dented and there was a small leak inside the box. It wasn’t a total disaster or anything, but it was still annoying to clean up before I could use it. Once I wiped everything down, the paint itself worked fine, so no complaints there. I just wish it had been packed better for shipping. Giving it 3 stars because the product was usable, but the delivery experience wasn’t great.

I used their guide to choose paint for my small dinghy, but it ended up not being quite right for what I needed. The info wasn’t terrible, but I really wish the project advice had been clearer before I bought anything. What made it more frustrating was that everything felt so automated, I couldn’t really get proper human contact to talk through the project with someone. Support was okay, but it would’ve been much better to speak to a real person before making the decision
